If you’ve reported a problem to our support team, they may ask you to send in a backup of your app data for analysis. Here’s how to do that:
On the app home screen, tap “About”:
On the “About” screen, tap “Export Backup File”:
Share the ZIP file (called “cartographer-mobile-archive.zip”) with us in any way you can:
Methods for sharing files vary from device to device. If the file is small enough you may be able to email it to us. If you have lots of images, however, it may be easier to share it via Dropbox, Microsoft OneDrive, or Google Drive.
The ZIP file contains a copy of every survey and attachment you’ve viewed or edited in your app. Our support team can use it to restore any un-uploaded data in the event there is a persistent problem with your app.
