Before You Begin#

You need an iPhone or iPad running iOS or iPadOS 16.4 or later, signed in to an Apple Account (the App Store asks you to sign in if you aren't). The app is free.

Installing the App#

1. Open the App Store on your device.
2. Tap Search at the bottom and search for Cartographer. Look for our logo, as other apps share the name. Alternatively, open this page on your device and tap this link: Cartographer on the App Store.
3. On the app's listing, tap Get. If you've installed the app on another device before, you'll see a cloud icon instead. If you have an older version installed, you'll see Update. Tap whichever appears and confirm with Face ID, Touch ID or your passcode if asked.

   

4. When the button changes to Open, tap it. You'll also find the Cartographer icon on your home screen.

Keeping the App Up to Date#

The App Store updates apps automatically by default. To check for an update yourself, open the App Store, tap your picture at the top right, and look for Cartographer under App Updates.
