The home screen lists your workspaces and the projects in each. If instead it shows a single line, No workspaces to display, the app has nothing to show you yet. Here are the usual reasons, most likely first.
The App Hasn't Downloaded Your List Yet#
The app fetches your workspaces and projects from our servers when you sign in, and keeps them up to date while it's open and online. If it was interrupted, the list can be empty.
- Get on wifi or a good mobile signal.
- Make sure the Work Offline switch at the bottom of the screen is off (grey).
- Pull down on the screen to refresh, and wait until the status line under the title bar says Online.
You Aren't in a Project Yet#
The app only lists workspaces where you're a member of at least one project. Sign in to the Cartographer web site: if you don't see your project there either, ask your project coordinator to add you. Once they have, refresh the app as above.
Your Projects Only Use Forms the App Doesn't Support#
Some survey forms are only available on the web site. A project whose forms are all web-only doesn't appear in the app, and neither does its workspace if it has no other projects. Contact us (see Contact Us) if you think a form should be available in the app.
"Mobile App Unavailable on Starter Plan"#
If a workspace is listed but shows this line instead of its projects, the workspace's plan doesn't include the mobile app. Your workspace administrator can contact us about upgrading.
You're Signed In to the Wrong Account#
Tap Settings and check Signed In As. If it isn't you, sign out and sign in with your own account, or switch accounts (see Accounts and Signing Out).
Still Empty?#
Please contact us (see Contact Us) with your account's email address and the app's version (see What Version of the App Are You Using?).
